Kidney Dialysis Foundation is an independent non-profit organisation which provides subsidised dialysis treatment to needy members of the community. We support those whose income falls into the lowest 15% of the income bracket in Singapore, ensuring that they will not be deprived of life-sustaining dialysis treatment as a result of their financial situation.
KDF strongly supports preventive education and research and is currently funding an NUS research project which aims to find a cure for diabetes - one of the main causes of kidney failure in Singapore.
KDF currently run three dialysis centres at Bishan, Chinatown, Ghim Moh, serving about 340 patients annually. At least $4 million is needed annually to continue KDF's life-saving mission.
The Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) was established in 1996 by Dr Gordon Ku to provide subsidised dialysis treatment to needy members of our community and to support research for a cure for kidney diseases. We need $6.4 million annually to continue with our vision and mission. All donations will be channeled to KDF General Fund.
All donations with a valid identity number will automatically be submitted to IRAS for 2.5 times tax deduction. An official receipt will be sent to you within 30 days for donations of $20 and above.
